Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Where are you located?

    2189 Highway 78, Borrego Springs, CA 92004

Conveniently located at the Blu In with direct access to Ocotillo Wells SVRA.   We are just 2 hours from San Diego, 3 hours from Los Angeles and a short drive from Palm Springs, Borrego Springs, Julian and Salton Sea.

  • Rental Agreement and Waiver

Every rental requires a rental agreement signed by the renter and a waiver signed by all riders.  Adults can sign waivers for minors.  All waivers and agreements are available at time of booking and it is recommended to complete them before arriving to save time.

  • Rental Availability and Times

Available half day 8-12 or 12:30-4:30.  Full day is from 8-4:30.  We are open everyday.  Our season begins in October and end in May, depending on weather conditions.

  • How old do you have to be to rent a vehicle?

You need to be 18 or older and hold a full and valid drivers license to be able to rent/operate a vehicle.

  • Do I need to pay a deposit?

The cost of these high performace vehicles exceeds $30,000, so we do ask for a $2,500 security deposit.  This deposit is an authorization hold, not a charge and will be released within a few days after the vehicle is returned without damage. We do not authorized the hold until the day of the booking.

  • What is the fuel policy?

We provide one full tank of gas with each rental. Additional fuel can be purchased from us if needed. All vehicles use 91 octane fuel.

  • What are your cancellation policies?

Due to high demand for our vehicles, we do NOT offer refunds except in the case of operator cancellation or within 48 hours of the initial booking.  In addition, if the rental activity is initially booked within a 48 hour period, there are no refunds. However, customers can cancel and reschedule on another available date during the same season.

  • What should we wear and bring?

We recommend wearing long pants, closed toe shoes. Long sleeve shirt and sweatshirts are recommended in colder weather.  A valid driver's license is required and either a credit or debit card is necessary for the security deposit. Always carry and drink plenty of water.

*Pro Tip- Bring your own cooler and a couple of bungee cords, there a lots of beautiful picnic spots.

  • Can I take the Can-Am to other deserts like Glamis?

No, our vehicles are only rented out for use in the Ocotillo Wells SVRA Park Area.

  • Safety Tip

We understand that these vehicles are fun to drive and ride in, but please keep your arms inside the vehicle at all times, both passengers and drivers. You’ll have a lesser chance of getting hurt or injured by keeping your arms and all other body parts inside the vehicle while you’re riding.  Seat belts and helmets are required at all times.

Pro tip: Use the bars and handles that UTVs have if you need to grab onto something or feel like putting your arms up.  We have also added safety nets to vehicles this year, please always keep them up, so you do not injure your hands or arms.

Traveling at high speeds, putting arms or any body parts outside the vehicle, doing donuts and going up steep hills will put you and your passengers in danger, we forbid this type of driving.  We require you to watch a safety video upon arrival.  We want you to have a good time and not have any injuries.  Remind everyone in your group to KEEP ALL BODY PARTS INSIDE THE CAR AT ALL TIMES, ESPECIALLY ARMS.

We have a 4 minute safety video for you to watch when you arrive.  We also recommend watching the BRP Responsible Riders video below.
